ingredients & standards

What goes in, where it comes from, and how it is checked before it reaches your kitchen.

sourcing philosophy

Every ingredient is chosen for the form the research used, not the cheapest version available. Creatine monohydrate, not a blend. Ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha, not culinary offcuts. Hydrolysed marine collagen peptides with a low molecular weight for absorption.

We buy from a small number of long-term suppliers who can provide full traceability back to origin.

manufacturing standards

Blended and packed in a UK facility operating to BRCGS Food Safety standards under HACCP controls, with GMP procedures across weighing, blending and filling.

Each production run is lot-coded so any bag can be traced to its batch records.

testing and certification

Certificates of Analysis are held for every incoming raw material, covering identity, purity and heavy metals.

Finished batches are tested for microbiological safety. Matcha is additionally screened for lead and pesticide residues.

label honesty

No proprietary blends. Every active is listed with its exact dose per serving on the pack and on this website.

Nutrition and macro figures are published per serving so you can compare like for like.

novel food compliance

Under retained EU Regulation 2015/2283, certain ingredients require authorisation before sale in Great Britain. We only formulate with ingredients that have a recognised history of consumption in the UK/EU before May 1997, or that hold a valid authorisation.

Our functional mushroom extracts (Lion's Mane and Chaga) are supplied as fruiting-body and mycelial extracts with documented pre-1997 consumption history in the UK and EU, supported by supplier dossiers. We review the FSA novel food status list before any formulation change.

allergens and suitability

Contains fish (marine collagen). Produced in a facility that also handles milk and soya. Not suitable for vegans or those with a fish allergy.

Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
