Why I Built Kofe

ʼkôfē started with a cupboard. Specifically, my cupboard: a collagen tub, a creatine tub, a bag of MCT powder and a jar of instant coffee, all of which I owned and roughly none of which I took consistently.

the gap i kept running into

The problem was never motivation. It was friction. Four containers, four scoops, four things to wash up, all before 7am. Some mornings I'd do it. Most mornings I'd make a coffee and tell myself I'd sort it out later.

And when I did make the effort, the result was grim — a slightly gritty, faintly savoury drink that I was finishing out of obligation rather than wanting.

the bar i set

The idea was simple: one scoop that replaced the whole cupboard, in a drink I'd genuinely look forward to. The taste bar wasn't 'acceptable for a supplement' — it was 'as good as the coffee I'd otherwise make'.

That turned out to be the hard part. Plenty of formulas hit the numbers on paper and taste like chalk in the cup.

building the blends

Black Coffee came first, built around smooth Colombian coffee so the roast carried the formula rather than the formula fighting the roast. Matcha Collagen followed for the mornings — and the people — that coffee doesn't suit.

Both are dosed openly on the pouch. Nothing hidden behind a proprietary blend, no fairy dusting an ingredient just to get it on the front label.

what makes ʼkôfē different

Full doses, stated clearly. No added sugar. A gift set — tin, glass cup, spoon and frother — included with your plan, because the ritual is half of why the habit sticks.

And a rule I've held to since the first batch: we say what's in it and how to use it, and we don't make claims we can't stand behind. If that ever makes our marketing duller than the next brand's, I'll take it.

start strong. stay strong.

Two blends, one ritual. Gift set included with every direct order.
